Do you remember the 3rd of September 2020?

I was playing on Earth Wind & Fire song ”September”? Did you catch on? lol

That was the date of my last post. And I was gung ho ready to go with this blog/influencer thing. I was working the overnight at Hampton Inn Garden City. And I started havng crazy stomach issues. I thought IBS flaring up from all the junk I was eating. We had been trying to get pregnant for a little over a year. So after two weeks of the poppies I took a pregnancy test on 9/18 and it was positive!!! Within a few days the morning sickness started. Really it was morning noon and night sickness. 14 weeks I suffered. Nausea, vomiting, the poops, heartburn all day and night!!!!

I was already worried about being 38 years old and the potential for health issues. So my entire focus went to taking care of me and baby. And school. By November the security issues at work became too worrisome for me and Johnny so I left the job behind!!! And stayed home to grow a tiny human. Fast forward to today. Our beautiful baby girl is 10 months old and I’m a stay at home mom!!! I waited my whole life for this but suffering from anxiety and depression most of my life I have struggled the past few months with the weight of everything. No degree, no career, no monetary wealth. I finally realized that I needed something of my own again. I needed more to my identity than a stay at home mom. So I decided to get back to this blog/influencer thing. I started this journey a long time ago. Probably ten years ago. I had a free product blog. I was obsessed with free samples and getting free stuff from companies. I feel like I kinda invented influencing haha.

Seriously though I consider myself the ultimate consumer. Not because of the money i spend because I put so much thought into my purchases. Now the brands mission and values mean so much more to me than they used to. The value of my dollar is important and I feel we should all get the maximum for what we spend and where we spend it. And I know what I have to say, what I do, how I do it is important and I want to share with others. So here we are. Bare with me as I get into the swing of things and figure out how to create great content.
